Soft rubbers mean better stick but less durability, they are all about feel and sensitivity, giving maximum grip but wear out faster and offer less support on tiny edges.Hard rubbers mean less sensitivity and more durability. They shine on small holds, vertical faces, and long routes by keeping your foot stable and reducing fatigue.

AVAILABLE RUBBERS – listed from stiffest to softest

Vibram Edge is a hard/stiff that delivers exceptional firmness and durability, making it perfect for precise edging on small holds and for long, demanding routes. Its balanced stiffness ensures reliable support and grip on tiny edges, ideal for sport climbing and for versatile indoor or outdoor use where stability matters most.Unparallel RH rubber is a versatile, medium/hard compound that is slightly stiffer and more durable than Vibram XS Grip. It provides a balance of stickiness, durability, and support, making it effective for both gym and outdoor climbing.Vibram XS GRIP is a medium/soft compound designed for maximum friction, offering excellent adherence to various rock surfaces but with a slight sacrifice in durability and edging performance compared to harder compounds.Unparallel RS is a soft rubber compound, making it the stickiest and most sensitive of all.If you’re unsure, just ask for the original rubber or the closest match.

Hola!, I’m Rio, I love figuring out how to fix things and giving gear a second life instead of letting it go to waste.I love that each climbing shoe feels like a different art project: you have to figure out what’s going on, find the right solution, and bring it back to life, kind of like working your way up a route or solving a boulder problem, not that I boulder, that’s for brave people. If you see me around, feel free to say hi! You’ve probably seen me at the gym yelling POWER! to my climbing buddies or snacking on chips between climbs.
